2ptalia- The Baltics

Pppffffffffffttttttt..... I was bored this afternoon so I decided to do this...I don't like the color version of this very much, like the longer I stare at it the more I'm like 'kill it' but its not getting any better so I'll deal with it and maybe one day come back and re-draw it...

Anyway enough of my whining, here are my designs for the 2p!Baltics, as well as a few head canons for them.

Toris

Okay, well regular Toris is often portrayed as laid back, and easy going, for his 2p self I get more of the soldier vibe, even now. Despite the fact that he has fallen from his huge powerhouse status as a nation and has spent a good many years under someone else's rule he still is a very capable fighter and will never back down from any fight. He doesn't like to admit that he goes looking for trouble, but he does, telling himself its okay as long as he doesn't throw the first punch. His body is also covered in many different scars, mos of them are the result of fighting, rather than the receiving end of a whip. Due to his constant fighting, it is not unusual for him to be bandaged or have several new stitches (Eduard generally stitches him up). One thing that really confuses him is that 2p Natalia likes hanging around him, he's not sure of what to make of it, she's nice, so he doesn't hate her, but he doesn't liker her either....(this connects to my head canon for 2p Belarus, she loves her brother but isn't obsessive about it, and I like to think that in this opposite/dark universe she is the one going after Toris rather than Toris going after her)

Raivis

Oh, little Raivis...normally I like this character as the sensitive type. One who's very expressive and sometimes yes that does get him into trouble, another thing is that with normal Raivis, the whole crying and trembling thing, I see that as an unintentional response, that when he's under so much pressure, so much stress, he breaks down; he can't help it. (I hate characterization for Raivis that has him cry at the drop of a hat, that drives me crazy, but that is beside the point) 2p Raivis, is very much aware of his stature, of himself and is very thoughtful about his speech and actions. When he does choose to tear up, he does so to manipulate others to his advantage (he can't really force others to do what he wants, doesn't have the physical strength, but the intelligence and adorable appearance). So he fake cries and thoroughly enjoys fucking around with people and causing mischief.
